Yes... my step sisters hair has the same problem (she is a lifegaurd so she is in the pool quite a bit). My step mom has been paying a lot of money for her to get her hair stripped at the salon. Stripping your hair is supposed to take the layer of damaging chlorine out of your hair.

Well one day I casually asked my mom why my step sis had to get her hair stripped so often and my mom said she shouldn't be doing it at all! Because it is a just a way for the salon to make money. Chlorine eats away at the hair, it doesn't cover it in a film. So there is no way you can take it out. (My mom is a cosmetologist) So whatever you do.. don't get it stripped... it is a waist of money.

What you should do, is get a shampoo that is made for getting the green out of your daughters hair. You can get it at Walmart or any store like that. There are many different brands so just try one out!! =)
