my hairs a natural light brown and just yesterday I dyed it a chocolate brown color (dark almost black) well now my hubby is wanting me to dye it blond just for the heck of it and since i just dyed it yesterday (8/23/07) i'm just curious when i can safely redye. I will have it done perfessionally so i dont know if that needs to be taken into consideration or not. But thanks in advance for the help!

Hey sweeite! Well right now it def. would not be healthy on your hair to dye it anytime soon. The best time to wait would be atleast 4 weeks! If you wash it more, the color will fade out and they won't have to leave the bleach on there for long! But, MAKE SURE you DO have it done professionally because box dye from Wal-Greens, Wal-Mart, etc. HURTS your hair worse and will turn it orange! Well, I hope this helps! take care. :)

you should wait at least 2 weeks, but it's still gonna do a decent bit of damage...but most professionals will do it after 2 weeks...do you know what you are getting into to go back to blonde?...your hair stylist is going to have to strip all of the dark color out of your hair and then color it the blonde that you would like it....it's all going to be a little rough on your hair, you may want to keep some deep conditioning treatments around the house, and ask your stylist what they would recommend to get your hair healthier afterwards!
