Blonde hair is fantastic to work with because it has less pigment than brunettes so the colour will take to it better. Unless you have a good idea of what you're doing, I'd suggest going to a hairdresser and getting them to do it. It's what they're trained to do :) That way it should turn out how you want it and if it doesn't you can go back and get them to fix it.

It's up to you, really, as to what colour you want it. Also it depends on how light or dark your hair is. If you want it brown and you have lighter hair, best to pick a brown that has few reddy undertones. A lot of supermarket bought packets can have deceiving packets so go to the hairdresser and describe what you want. Then you can ask them about what store-bought colour you would think is best to use.

If you want to go lighter, blonde is very handy because of the shortened bleaching time. Bleaching *can* be bad for your hair but most people who have a massive objection to it have either heard horror stories or have had a bad experience with it. I'm a serial bleacher. My hair is a different colour every few weeks. One week it's pink, another blue, maybe green, maybe rainbow. My hairs as healthy as ever because I take care of it. If you're going to bleach you need to look after it because its been kicked about a bit. Throw in a few treatments, lay off the bleach for a week and you'll always have great looking hair :) If you bleach it and then just go back to cheap brand shampoo, harsh sunlight and chemicals, like swimming pools, of course it's going to be wrecked.

So yeah, go to your hairdresser and ask them what they think would be the best colour for what you want. Generally advice is free, so if you wanna do it yourself just go in and ask em what they think :)

oh i dont no y that is.. it must hav been the die. but go darker cause it actually helps your hair going lighter hurts it htough

most of the time when you dye your hair at home it never turns out the color you expect it to be..it is normally always darker..but do remember that it will fade to the color you want eventually..it is always darker at first..my hair use to be alll blonde but I dye the underneath now dark brown and when I first started dying it it faded real bad..when ever you dye you dye your hair from blonde to another color it will be fade fast at first but after a couple of more dyes it will be fine..mine is like a chocolate brown now and it doesnt fade that much at all..but I go to a salon and get mine done..you might consider going to a salon and get there advice on what color would be best for you..you want something that will make your skin tone warmer you dont want anything that will wash you out. hope this helps.
