to get it blonde, you'll need to bleach it a few times. buy a few packets of bleach powder, and some high-lift developer, and some blue toner. you need to get these things from your beauty supply store.

then, section your hair. start applying the bleach to the ends first, working it through the whole section. leave on for about 30 minutes. keep your hair warm by wearing a shower cap. then, apply the bleach to your roots, and leave for another 15-30 minutes. wash your hair with shampoo, and condition with a deep-treatment conditioner.

you may have to repeat this process in another week, if the hair is still very orange. while waiting to bleach it again, be sure to use conditioner every day.

after you've reached the desired shade of lightness, dye over your hair with an ash tone, to reduce brassiness in your hair.
