what color is your hair now? i would suggest leaving it to the professional, but if you insist on doing it yourself...

Quick Blue bleach works well.

if your hair is anything close to dark, use a 40 developer

watch your hair carefully as it changes color.. when you hit your desired color rinse out. (somewhere around 15-30 min) make sure you watch it carefully.. if it feels mushy or really hot you need to wash it out right away. otherwise you can overprocess your hair and it will be a fried mess.

TONE - if you have any red in your hair. sometimes they have little dropper packs for 99 cents at the beauty supply called RED OUT.

if its still a little red, use shimmer lights shampoo.
