Bleach sorta makes it a weird blondish orange color but what if I dyed It blond a few days later would it be platinum blonde?
If I Bleach my Hair Then Dye It Blonde Would It Actually Be Blond?
You should not bleach and then put another permanent color over it. This is too harsh and it will be dry, break off.
If you've already bleached you hair, go to the beauty supply and get a color for two-step process bleached hair. It will be more of a tint, and will not be permanent. Putting a permanent color over the bleach will ruin it. You'll have to keep using the tint every few weeks.
If you've already fried it with bleach, go to a good salon instead of trying to fix it yourself.
If your hair is brown (not really dark, almost black) and has not been bleached, you can just buy a haircolor kit that includes 2 bottles: a bottle with the peroxide and another bottle or tube with the color in the lightest "cool" or "ash" shade they make. This will counteract the gold that's coming out when you try to bleach. There are so many made by Clairol Revitalique, L'Oreal Preference, Garnier Nutrisse, and others at the drugstore or even the grocery store. Just make sure you're getting the one that says Permanent (not temporary).
If it's your first time lightening it and it's pretty much the same color from roots to ends, use the whole bottle, then save the empty bottle. In a month to 6 weeks, you will see dark roots, so get another box of the same brand and color. Pour 1/2 of each ingredient (peroxide and color) into the old bottle you saved %26amp; mix them, and close up the other two you just poured from and put back in the box. They will last until next month if closed good and kept in the dark.
Now you can take the mixture you just made and put it on just your roots. This is the tricky part. It's best to have someone help you.
You part your hair into sections %26amp; clip then up and out of they way. Top, sides, and two in the back is how I do it.
Starting on the back sections, let one down and with a rattail comb, you part it into rows about 1/2 " apart or less and put the mixture on the roots. Keep parting and applying until you have that section done, then loosely clip it up and out of your way. Repeat this until you have all sections done.
I'm able to do this by myself while standing in between the mirror on the wall and another behind me on the door, especially while I do the back tow sections. You can learn to do the sides by feel. Just make sure that each time you appply hte mixture to a row it covers all the dark roots. I spread it a little with a finger (or small paint brush to make sure they're al covered. Now wait at least the full 45 min recommended so you get the lightest results.

It depends. If your hair turns orange and you want it to be lighter the only way to do it is to bleach it again. If it is you bleach it and it is as light as you want it to be you can put a toner (or a color that you mix with ten volume peroxide) on it with a green or violet base that will neutralize the orange. The only way to remove color though is to bleach it or lighten it with a high volume peroxide. Once you achieve the lightness that you want you can adjust it with color.

No it won't ....you need to be past the orange stage.....go to a professional....you will just be a lighter orange and a lot of damage to your hair.....

NO! If you are trying to go platinum this is really a job for a very experienced colorist which can be very expensive. using a store bought bleaching formula can be extremely damaging to your hair. If you do achieve the platinum look it will be very high maintenance to keep up with your roots. Your getting the weird orange color because store bought bleaching products cannot successfully remove all of your hairs color pigment. When you apply the blond color (dye) on top of this it may tone it and change the color a bit but more than likely will not lighten to the desired level. It's really safest to just stay away from all over the counter products and either hire a professional or leave your hair alone.

haha no it will be orange trust me.
i recently did this. i was dying the underneath section of my hair blonde and had recently dyed it black about 5 days before.
my aunt bleached it, then it was orange, so i bought platinum blonde and it was just a lighter sahde of orange-y yellow(ew) and it really sucked i had to wait 3 weeks before a hairdresser would even touch it to get it blonde.
my advice to you is to go to a professional so they know what they're doing and if you do it yourself your hair could possibly fall out if you mess it up.
