I dye my hair alot, i usually go blonde in the summer, then take a break, and go back darker for the rest of the year.. but I died my hair yesterday to blonde. But its not the colour I really hoped for.. It doesn't look horrible at all, but there is a little brassy/yellowish in it. Does anyone have any advice to help get it out on a budget... thanks
Is there any way to get brassy/yellowish tones out of blond hair from home?
I know of the "purple shampoos" that are bought at Sally's Beauty Supply *or other beauty supply stores*, but I have never had any personal experience using them.
What I have done in the past to get rid of brassiness is to get a toner. I have always went into Sally's and asked the employees what is best. They can look at the tone of your hair and show you exactly what to get. Every time I have done this, it ran me around 10 bucks. It's well worth it, because your hair looks FABULOUS after you apply the toner :)

try shimmer lights shampoo it is made for blonde, grey, and white hair to stay beautiful, shiny, healty looking blonde, grey, and white.
it has a violet base to the shampoo. you would lather it in the hair. let it say in your hair for three to five minutes then rinse.
