Ok...be Careful or you going to end up orange. The best way to do this is to go to Sally Beauty Supply. If you don't have one of those where you live go to another beauty supply store. Anyway...you have to do this in levels....You can't just take it from one extreme to another or you will fry your hair. DO NOT buy some cheap wal-mart crap...you will kill your hair. Anyway....ask the store associate what you should start with. Don't worry you can do level after level all in one day. But you have to take it slow!

That is really hard to change without damaging your hair majorly. My mom is a hair stylist, and I work at the salon with her. Many women want to do the same, but you have to BLEACH your hair to make it colorless first, then you dye it. It damages your hair very badly, and this can cause breakage, unhealthy hair.

There's no question - you MUST go to a hairdresser and it has to be a good one. It will be expensive, but in the long run a professional is going to be the only one who can take your hair from dark to blonde without screwing it or your hair up.

No, I'm not a hairdresser, but I do have very dark brown hair and a couple of years ago I went blonde for a while - in the end I went back to brown because the bleach dried my hair out too much, but it was fun while it lasted :)

This is only if have the money...

Go to the hair dressers, ask them to bleach it out and then condition it to repair the damage the bleach has done. They'll do your hair any colour you like.

From personal experience a hair dresser is the best option. I didnt have the money and was sick of my light hair roots coming through to my died black hair so I went and got those do it at home hair dyes, the ones that bleach your hair a few shades lighter. It was an absolute disaster, my roots were headlight yellow and I had bright orange hair with patches of black and yellow. And when I tried to dye it a normal colour it took me two goes to get it looking respectable.

I still dye my hair myself but to go lighter try try TRY to go to a proffessional.

Going from "dyed dark" to "super blond" is not going to happen by putting just any blonde color over it. You need to bleach it or strip out the "dark". Either one can cause you to damage your hair %26amp; depending on what "super blond" means, you may just give yourself an unexpected chemical haircut instead. (meaning your hair could fall out) If you still have hair left, it may be an orange tone and not the "blond" you have in mind.

Go have a consultation in a salon. Pay the money to have it done correctly. I see way too many girls come in to have their hair fixed after trying to do this at home. We have to turn most of them away as their hair has too much damage.

If thinking of going blonde and your hair is very dark, you should definetly get it done at your hairdresser. If you did it yourself there is a very high chance it will go orange.

At the hairdressers they will strip your hair and when your hair is stripped you are able to dye your hair any colour, without complications and best results will happen at the hairdresser.

And all you have to do is tell them what hair colour shade you are interested in. Remeber go a shade that will suit you.

Hair repair as in shampoo/conditioners/thermal prottector/treatments GHD will give you best results, you can purchases these from hair salons and price lines from what i know of. Hope this helps.

Get the lightest blonde you can find but not white. It will end up a medium blonde.

I'm a natural dark brown, I've been blonde serveral times. The only reason I usually end up going back to brown is that keeping up with the roots is an absolute pain. I usually do mine in steps. My hair is a solid brown right now, and I'll be putting blonde highlights in it soon. I use L'Oreal Frost and Tip or something (You can get developer and powder from Sally Beauty Supply too) After the highlights are in for a good few weeks, sometimes, I'll do another set of Highlights, or I'll go straight to bleach. "Super Blonde" I've tried, and seems to work well. However, you will get a "Strawberry blonde" look. Soon after you get that, (It's not recommended) to put a color over it. You should let your hair have a 'break' for a few days while being 'strawberry blonde' then, if you'd like you can pick out a dye that you think you'd like to have your blonde as. (( Just a FYI, Any color you pick is going to come out 10 times lighter than the picture shows )) Last time I bleached my hair, I put "Dark Brown" on it about 2 days later, and.. It was still medium-dark blonde after I was finished.

I've been dying my hair for about 10 years, and have learned my lessons on a few things, I'm not a professional or licensed, but when it comes to 'home' dying, I definitely have experience.

If you have the money, it would probably be a lot easier to just go to a salon, if not.. make sure you take it slow. You won't end up Bald, but you will lose hair, and it will definitely get dry. So use lots and lots of conditioner, everytime you wash your hair to make sure you keep it moisturized. (:
