no, all these shampoos just enhance your blonde tones. you'll either have to die it or pre-lighten it.

Most people I know use - believe it or not - Ammonia and orange juice. The combination sterilizes your hair, and chemically lightens it at the same time! It's brilliant, you have to give it a shot.

Um no! Have it highlighted or lightened at a professional salon! After having it lightened ask about the Artec shampoo line (color deposit and toning shampoo line)! If you want to keep your hair a warm blonde they have a formulated deposit shampoo to help maintain that tonality... If you want your hair to remain a pale blonde and become void of brassiness there is a violet based shampoo (complimentary to warm hues that will keep the tonality pale)! Don't use Sun-In, Lemon Juice, or Peroxide! These are not effective and proper hair lightening treatments... They are either very harsh, acidic, or metallic! Sun-In is metallic and lets say you use it and don't like the results (ex: its too orange or not light enough) no stylist will apply a bleach or high-lift color to hair (during a color correction) because it will cause a chemical reaction (professional products = alkaline compound and Sun-In and store bought color line = Metallic compound) the two cause a nasty reaction! Sun-In is horrible and the only way to rid of it is to let it grow out completely... It cannot be removed with a color remover since its purpose is to remove pigment! I have colored clients hair that used Sun-In and lied to me saying that they hadnt... I always found out if they were lying once I applied the highlights because the foils get extremely hot , explode, and cause bleach spots all over the hair! Save yourself the stress and possible disappointment and see a stylist :)

People color shampoos will not lighten hair... They have no lift factor and contain no peroxide! They are there to maintain hue and tonality only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try "sun in", i think its a spray - you should be able to get it in most chemists etc. or use lemon juice, apparently it works with the sun and makes it a bit lighter

Okay..the ammonia and orange juice deal?? JUST SAY NO!! Putting ammoinia in your hair would damage it beyond repair. Acid from the orange juice will do even further damage.

There is no shampoo that will "lighten" your hair unless it has a peroxide in it. Sun In is a peroxide based product that will, without a doubt, leave your hair dry and damaged. You will eventually get roots and feel the need to keep coloring your hair. You best bet would be to visit a salon and ask them what the best method is to lighten your hair since they will be able to see your hair and visualize what you're looking for. Bring a picture with you.

There are shampoos out there for blonde hair that will help to tone yellowish or brassy tones. Are you trying to brighten your blonde? Wanting to see more shine?? It all depends on what your looking for. Like I said, visit a salon and have a consultation done (it should be a free service!) .Good luck! I hope you get what you want!!

Hi i found timotei blonde hight lights very good even though i had light brown hair and your hair is lighter than mine so it should work well for you, and the more you use it the lighter your hair will become. Also there is hinara that quite good. But if you want a really blonde result the only way you will achieve this is by high lighting or bleaching which will work as you hair is light to begin with.
