I have dark ash blond hair though it was lighter when I was younger and I have blue eyes. My fiance has green/brown hazel eyes and strawberry blond hair but it looks more red than blond. My mother had blond hair (which is brown now) with green eyes. My dad had blond hair and blue eyes. His mom has blond hair and green eyes and his dad had brown hair and brown eyes. I think my baby will have strawberry blond with green eyes! What do you think? Any chance for blue eyes?

there is a chance theat your baby will have blue eyes, but i think that your baby will probably have hazel or green-blue eyes...and the hair would most likely be blonde...like lighter than yours

My guess would have been the same as yours! For blue eyes- probably not. Doesn't sound like that is in his family at all, and since it is a recessive trait, both parents have to have it for a child to have blue eyes. Doesn't mean it hasn't been hiding behind the green or brown gene all these years.

Yes theres a chance for blue eyes i'm sure your baby will have lighter hair. Even if it comes out with lighter hair it doesnt mean it'll stay that way. My daughter came out with jet black hair and it's now a light blonde color it's pretty it fits her and she has really blue eyes that we get compliments for even walking through the mall. Also her sperm donar had dark black hair and very blue eyes i have blue green eyes and dark brown hair. you should do the punnet square thing... i dont know how to spell it. its really easy but I wouldnt be able to explain how to do it without actually drawing it. Try yahooing it... this will give you the odds of what your babys features would be....

for example i have very blue eyes and very dark hair. My husband is asian and has black hair and dark brown eyes. Brown is dominant over blue, so unless my hubby had someone in his family with blue eyes( and he doesnt) there is no way I could have a blue eyed baby with him. But my daughter could marry someone with blue eyes, or someone who has the trait from a parent also and I could have grandchildren with blue eyes.

I think when ur baby is really yung it will have ... very light blond and when it gets a little older darker hair ( happend to my friend ) maybe ur baby would have green eyes.

I was told that my daughter will have some what dark hair and green to brown eyes. She is now 14 yrs old and has medium brown hair, and hazel green eyes.

I have almost black hair, my husband had blonde hair that is now lite brown, and I have brown eyes, he has green eyes, but one of his parents have green eyes, the other has blue eyes. Both my parents have dark brown eyes.

I was told by my doctor that brown eyes are dominant, but if someone has lighter eyes, like blue or green, the baby will have grey eyes first then by 1 yr old they will have hazel eyes, like hazel green or hazel brown and the hair is usually dark at first and may lighten if everyone has light hair, and oposite if everyone has dark hair at first, it will get lighter. I have always been told that blue eyes are the recessive gene whereas brown is more dominant. I am sure you will have the cutest baby no matter the eye color!
