I have long honey/strawberry blond hair, it straight with a tad of waves. I have had this for about five or six years. I highlighted it before, not much change, dyed it, faded. I was wondering if it would look good if I had it layered and dyed it red or purple. Underlayer maybe. Would it look good? If not, can you please send links for better ideas?

dont dye your hair unnatural colors.

they fade quicker and look worse while they do.

having it layered sounds cute, but when you color it go for a deep brown or maybe even a little more on the blonde side.

Hi, you don't know it now, but you will regret any novelty colors majorly. People spend big bucks to have hair like yours. Keep it.

I definitely think layers will help alot, but I wouldn't dye it all that extreme of a color. Maybe try what I'm doing, do some highlights in red or purple, or lights, it's a great little splash of color without going overboard.

If you really want to temp dye it a color, I'd go for a couple shades darker, maybe like Hilary duff did hers (a medium brown that still have a fresh, sunkissed look to it)
